Oglala Prairie Preserve Update

Oglala Prairie Preserve /EXPANSION OF BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK, South Dakota

- 4,600 acre acquisition of high-quality mixed -grass prairie habitat for bison, prairie dogs and black-footed ferrets directly adjacent to (6.5 miles frontage) the North Unit of Badlands National Park. Currently In need of being acquired by National Park Service, which has existing funds for acquisition. Boundary expansion of the Oglala Prairie Preserve is written into the Management Plans of Badlands National Park. Partnership with Wildlands Restoration Corporation.
